How much is the Fish? I don't know but Scooter keeps asking me! If he doesn't stop I might just go next door and ask master Dancer/Actor/Singer Bobby Fish. He should know the answer.
Now I'd like to start by talking about yesterday to keep things chronological. We had a show in Shizuoka, which is about a 2 1/2 hour drive away from out hotel. And since it was an early show we had to leave at 12 o'clock.
Now I got up around 8.30 and was all motivated to go to the gym around 9.30. When I asked Mr. Fish he deflated my motivation faster than a speeding bullet.
He reasoned that I'd get there by approximately 9.45, work out for 45 minutes get back by 10.45 and then would only have 45 minutes to eat and get ready for the bus.
At this point I'd like to explain that Japan time is always half an hour early. If they say the bus leaves at 12, the bus is ready and everybody is in it at 11.30. That day we were on the road at 11.40. Mexico time on the other hand is 1 to 2 hours late. We call it Lucha time.
So I'm just re-reading what I just wrote and I got something wrong because I would have had plenty of time to go to the gym! Somehow Mr. Fish screwed me! In his defense he told me that he didn't wanna go to the gym and just needed an argument not to go.
To make up for it we all workout out before the show even harder. Yes, NOAH brings workout equipment to all the shows, which is tremendous.
And if the whole story above didn't translate that well I blame it on my English.
That evening myself and Hero teamed up with Ricky Marvin and lost to Soito, Kanemaru and Suzuki... Oh well, even the best loose sometimes.
Dinner consisted of Daily Yamazaki chicken nuggets and spaghetti carbonara. I also came up with a jingle for that store, it goes like this:
Daily, dudu dudu dudu, Daily Yamazaki, dudu dudu dudu
(to the melody of Shugar, dudu dudu dudu, oh honey honey)
Today then was a day off. It started like all the other days off with a shake and gym time! My life is crazy isn't it?
Then though. Something extraordinary! Lunch Buffet! The buffet opened at 11.30 and that's the time we were there!
The buffet closed at 2 and we were still there and they asked us politely to leave so we did. Marco and Otto you would have been proud of me! I took a short break between 1 and 1.30 and had a bunch of coffees but came back strong in the last half hour!
After that I watched some more (take a guess) and did laundry. I just wanna say that I'm a great laundry man and take pride in doing laundry myself. I'm also quite the folder. Maybe i should work at GAP.
Laundry was finally done and I had some room in my stomach and went to the dollar store to get some snacks. On my way there I realized that I only had a the equivalent of a hundred dollar bill in my pocket and one single. Because I didn't wanted to pay for three things at the dollar store with a hundred dollar bill, I only bought one box of crackers.
Did I mention that those crackers are the best in the world?
Then for dinner we got taken out by a sponsor and we had great Mexican food. Did I mention that the whole "sponsor" thing needs to happen in the US as well? In order for that there would need to be respectful people in the US though.
I would like to end today's blog with a quote from my favorite TV show:
"Charlie, would you toast my buns?"
*raises glas* "To your buns!"
PS: I don't think this is one of my better blogs, but I took the time to write it all so I might as well publish it.... Yes I am my own publisher...

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions on the last post, Claudio! It is sincerely appreciated!
This entry, just like all of your others, was fantastic. It is great to hear about the world as you see it. You have such a great attitude and are so positive, it makes for good reading material when you have something to say.
I hear a rumor that you'll be wrestling Kevin Steen in Chicago on 1/31. I don't know if it's true, but I hope it is. That should be a great match and I'm anxious to see it!
It's good to hear that you're doing well during your travels. Stay safe out there!
So you say you're a good folder... Do you know this technique?

Also, the story about the Japanese room service folding your shirt that was on the floor is awesome. Hope you're having a good time in Japan!
Claudio, with so much talk of this convenience store, perhaps you should take a picture.
You're living out my dream right now. This summer I'm beginning my training to become a wrestler. I'll be starting out under the training of Mikey Whipwreck, but after a year or so I plan to move out to Philly and go to the Wrestle Factory. As much as a low-scale dream as it is compared to some people's, besides going to Japan, my main goal is to wrestle for Chikara.
So I'm sure you get this a lot, but any tips for someone about to start training?
Many replies in one post!
Some people tell me that I'm pessimistic. I don't know what they're talking about though.
I do not know this folding technique yet! I saw a video of it 3 years ago though. I will learn how to fold like that and then put it up here! Just remind me if I forget!
Living out your dream is important. Just do it. I prefer to get burned to standing out side the fire. If you know what I mean.
I will hopefully someday write a piece about people who wanna start wrestling, but the important thing is to take it seriously and keep training as much as possible.
