Michael Flatley

What a topic to start my first 2009 blog, right?

So yeah I watched "Superstars of Dance" yesterday and today. And yesterday was unbearable. Well, almost.
I think Michael Flatley is the Mike Adamle of TV show hosts. As much personality and passion he has while he's dancing, and yes, he's an incredible dancer, it all seems gone when he's hosting this show. So monotone. His co host has a lot more personality, but is featured only minimaly.

Until the Shaolin Monchs came on only the Argentine Tango was worth watching. I thought this is Superstars of Dance? How come people score 51s? Now I understand different cultures have different tastes but a lot just seemed not good. Bear in mind I'm not a dance expert, but also the experts on the show seem to agree and there were barely high scores.

My favorite judge btw. is South Africa's Harold Van Buuren! He handed out a 6, he doesn't mess around.
I'm also not a fan of the camera work. I mean it's a dance show, show their feet.

2009 started well for me, and in my first match of this year I tagged with my Tag Partner Ares and it was tremendous! We didn't team for almost a year and just didn't miss a beat!

Shaad Gaspard is feeling it right now. But just ate the pole with his shoulder. There was a point where that was done up to 3 times per Raw/Smackdown.

I'm sick of the movie "The Unborn". Yes I know it hasn't even come out yet, but since I saw the trailer about 987'139 times already I'm totally sick of it. And yes, it looks horrible. I like the dude in the bridge walking.

Speaking of Movies, "Mall Cop" looks great! The King of Queens is now the Kign of the Mall! And he drives a Segway (or however you spell that).

I also saw "Valkyrie" and enjoyed it. The trailer to Wolverine looks interesting too!

I'm also interested in seeing "The curious case of Benjamin Button". Any opinions on that?

Für alle Deutsch sprechenden, Benjamin Knopf ist meiner Meinung nach der Bruder von Jim Knopf!

Tschüss,
Claudio
