…. is reading this blog!
Good morning everybody! It’s early Monday morning, well depending of what you call early and I’m enjoying something great.
Birchermüsli! Well you may think that’s nothing special since
I status-update all the time that I’m eating it. But trust me it is because I’m using a different Müsli-mix this morning. Kashi Coconut Beach! And I must admit those seven whole grains on a mission knew what they’re doing! It’s great! Big tasty clusters that stay crunchy. Two thumbs up for Kashi.
Now let’s go a few days back. Friday for example. Usually my weekend and with it this blog starts with Friday. Not this one. This was the first weekend in months that I had no show on Friday. So I enjoyed that day relaxing, going to the gym and watching a movie.
You know those movie rental boxes? Red Box they are called, and you can rent a movie for a dollar. They’re great!
Roderick Strong recommended me “7 Pounds” with Will Smith a few months back so I finally decided to see if his movie recommendations are trust worthy. And they definitely are.
I enjoyed the movie and thought Will did great in it. He’s such a multitalent. The fresh Prince is on right now and he’s been amazing for years. Except his Men in Black song which I can’t hear anymore. Mainly because when I was in Business School there was a project of the dance group that featured that song. I was not in the dance group but I heard that song like a million times (the gym was next to our class room) and it kind of ruined it for me.
Ah! Just finished my müsli and now sipping on some great coffee!
Back to Friday! Well actually Saturday now (since I finished the movie and went to bed). On Saturday I went to Vermont for Action Packed Wrestling. And what a glorious time it was.
First the road trip up there was great since I was joined among others by Bryce Remsburg. Myself and Bryce are part of the road trip crew. Because when I first moved over here we were on the road every weekend for over a year. That kind of bonds two people. In the last few years we haven’t been on that many road trips together but we enjoy when they come along our way.
Vermont is a very beautiful state and it reminds me of
Switzerland. Lot’s of greens and hills. The only thing that’s missing are mountains. Well they do have mountains, but I mean big ones like the Alps.
There are also many golf courses in Vermont. If I’d ever get into golfing I would probably move up there in a motor home. Just because there are many camping grounds as well. And since I would want to try all the courses I would have to move a lot and a motor home would come in handy.
The show itself was a lot of fun and I had such a good time. I mean I wore a fox mascot mask and played the (ch)air guitar in the middle of the ring. I hope there are pictures of this glorious moment online soon. And trust me I will share those with you as soon as I find them! I also teamed up with Colin Delaney and we rocked Rutland, VT!
The drive back was long. Actually not longer than the drive up but because I was driving it seemed that way. The fact that it was raining the whole way through didn’t help either. I was looking forward to some coffee to help me along the way but of course on the first two rast plazas who came up there was nothing open but a Roy Rogers (I hate Roy Rogers) and that was 2 hours into the trip!
Finally the third plaza came through and I got my coffee fix. Thank you McDonalds for coming through two times in a row! I also got some gum because gum rules. Except they had such a small selection that I couldn’t get my favorites. At 3 in the morning I didn’t really care about that anymore though.
The coffee held me awake for the rest of the drive. All hail you coffee god!
But there was still something bound to happen. I got pulled over… But luckily the officer was super nice and even though we couldn’t find the registration papers for 4 minutes he let me go with a slap on the wrist a.k.a a warning.
I thought I wasn’t going that fast anyway. But if I read the warning correctly I was going 35 over… Well I wanted to get home!
Before I got home I also saw this street sign! The trust is a must at this intersection!
Home for Sunday. Sunday was a glorious day! Full of sleeping in, and great food. Great food would be a Chocolate Chip cookie from Starbucks combined with a white chocolate steamy latte (Are you not aware that I get farty and bloated with a foamy latte?), I Rösti with Zürichgeschnetzeltes and Pizza. Yes there are some recipes coming!
I was also going watch “Slumdog Millionaire” but first I did an interview for The Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up I ended up talking for a long time, so if you want go check it out!
The movie was tremendous and I completely understand and agree that they won all those Oscars. Not that I was the one that they needed to convince. I strongly recommend the movie to anybody that hasn’t seen it yet.
Today I’m all exited to hit the gym again. My legs were sore until yesterday from my leg workout last Wednesday! Which means it was great. I will share more workout thoughts in a completely separate blog probably tomorrow.
So get back to work or whatever you took time off to read this, note that I appreciate you taking time to read this and have a great day!
You will hear from me soon again! And I hope I will see you back here then too!
Tschüss,
Claudio
PS: There’s a similar picture somewhere else on the web with somebody else in it… if you find it, let me know (My version of the game “Where’s Waldo”)
