It's been too long...

Yeah, I must admit I got lazy!

I got lazy and I didn't post any blog update here in forever...

And since I'm not uploading pictures here anymore so I was actually thinking of closing this blog here down anyway.
Because I'll post blogs on my Myspace anyway and it's almost the same, so I don't really need this here.

But I let you guys convince me otherwise.

So this weekend has been a lot of fun! CHIKARA King of Trios! Team Uppercut, consisting of yours truly, Dave Taylor and Bryan Danielson made it all the way to the finals!

And because we lost those, let me tell you that the fun part was getting there.

I standing on the apron next to Dave Taylor is pretty cool. Tagging Dave Taylor to get in the ring with Johnny Saint is even cooler!

Yes, I did it! I wrestled Johnny Saint! And it was awesome! In one month I got chopped by Ric Flair, teamed with Dave Taylor and wrestled Johnny Saint!

And that's just the beginning of the year!

If you get a chance, you have to check out the DVDs! Team Uppercut vs. Master of 1000 holds is just one big fun match! I can't wait to see it myself. Some may say it was the best match ever.

But nights 1 and 3 don't have to hide behind night 2! Night 1 will feature Grizzly Redwood overpowering Danielson in a test of strenght (well... you'll see) while night 3 will see Colin Delany do the same (again, you'll see).

If you're a fan of high flying you'll like the "Built in" Rey de Voladores tournament.

So you'll get two for the price of one!

so much to tell, so little time! Well I'll keep you updated!

Benjamin

Button...

Yes I saw the movie of that curious story yesterday.

Based on a short story this movie is a whopping 3 hours long. Now if you're asking me, they should have stuck with the short story a little bit more.

The movie drags, never really gets going and is just an all in all unpleasant experience. Unless you're a fan of Brad Pitt. Then you'll love the movie.

I must admit that I liked some parts of the movie, but then again I was sitting in the theater for parts while thinking of anything but the movie.

If I'd have rented the movie at the 1$ rental I probably wouldn't be so negative but the fact that I paid, and paid extra because the movie is over length, gives me a sour taste in my mouth.

To sum it up, two buttons down!

Big Beautiful Blog

Date: Mar 9, 2009

Beautiful Brilliant Blog

Well maybe it's not that big, and maybe it's not even that beautiful, but it's definitely a blog!

So what happened since last time! Well first of all I haven't written as many blogs, that's for sure! Also I haven't updated my pure blogspot blog in a while! And yes, I'm not happy about that.

There's a reason for that though. I got that blog because I was able to update it from my phone, by sending an email. Usually I did that with pictures. That was the special thing about that place. I sent pictures there from on the road and it was quick and easy.

Well with my new phone I can't do that anymore. I can update my blog from the road without a problem, but I can't email pictures. So I'm thinking about closing the blog, because I can just have this one here. What's your opinion.

Now what I can do is upload my pictures to one of various photo hosting websites. Flickr, Snapfish or Photobucket...

The way I am, I looked up all websites, read the FAQs and read comparisons between the websites. Still I haven't decided which one I'm going to pick.

Right now Flickr seems to be in the number one spot, since it's more about sharing your pictures with friends etc.
So if you're signed up with either site, tell me what you think about it and if you'd recommend it!

This weekend I'm traveling to St. Louis and Indianapolis for ROH. If you're in the area, you should definitely come and check it out. If you have the chance to get HDNet you should do that too!

Speaking of getting stuff, what about a Claudio Castagnoli T-Shirt! I went through my merchandise and decided it's time for a sale! And what a big one it is! It's the Swiss Spring Sale! Everything is only 9 bucks! No Shipping charges! (International orders are 11, so just include 2 more bucks, I'm sure you understand and it's still an amazing deal).
Recession is still kicking strong so you'll be able to wear a nice piece of clothing for less than ten bucks! Don't miss this oportunity as quantities are limited, the Ricola Bomb Shirts already sold out!

Dancing with the Stars is back on! So I'll be giving my comments on that here hopefully every week! Big ups to Steve O. I wasn't looking forward to him but he managed to entertain me.
Melissa? Come on. From being dumped by the bachelor to Dancing with the stars! Great step for her, but I think they might aswell could have gotten the Octomom! She's on TV way too much.

Speaking of the Bachelor. What a waist of TV time! So let's assume you watched that show. For about two months or however long it went. Then at the end you get screwed! On the other hand if you look up the trackrecord of that show, it's like a needle in the heystack. It hardly works out. At least the show gets some press right now. And the bachelor who had all the sympathy going into that show (after being dumped in the previous season) is now douche of the country. (Everyone considered him the doucheb** of the county)

Anyone catch 5 minutes of the rock of love bus? I'm not even sure if that's what it's called. But it's horrible. If you thought rock of love couldn't get any worse, it did! Sluttier, grosser, skankier and just dumber girls. Come on America! You can do so much better! That's representing your country and your kids watch up to that!

What about America's next top model? I just cought the minutes when Tyra finally made her entrance and all the girls were freaking out and screaming. And that made me want to throw the remote at the TV. Luckily I got myself under controll again and just switched the channel.

I also saw Watchmen this past weekend. I haven't read the novel, but I really liked the movie. I thought it was great. Now I wanna read the novel. Rorschach is the man and the Comedian is hilarious. I also coined the word "Bludity". If you saw the movie, you know what i'm talking about. Feel free to use that word in your daily life too.

Does it look like I watch too much TV? Well it just looks that way. I just zap a lot and thanks to that I'm able to see many things in a short period of time. I also have the TV on while doing other stuff so I keep my ears open and eyes closed (well, not really but I thought it sounded cool).

Oh I forgot one thing. Ace of cakes! One day I'll get a Charm City Cake! Great show! Two thumbs up!

That's it for today!

Switzerland

Do I feel bad about not posting stuff in a while? Yes, I actually do. Because I wanna post something everyday, but I don't know how interesting that would be.

On the other hand I got a new phone so maybe there will be more pictures soon again! The bad thing is that I tried to post a picture and it didn't go so well (as you were able to see by the weird post that was on here for a while).

Now the good thing was that there actually came up a question.

Now a couple of people told me they saw documentaries about Switzerland and they were hooked. Now there was one particular question about the tunnel system in the Alps for defense reasons.

Now since I was in the Swiss Military and have a couple of friends in higher places there, I do have a little insight of that.

Now as you might know there are mountains all over Switzerland. And of course those mountains can be used for strategic reasons. To many people in Switzerland it's one of the reasons Switzerland wasn't invaded in WWII.

Now in those mountains there are tons of tunnels and caves, nobody, or only a few peoples know of. There are strategic bunkers at places you'd never think.

There are anti aircraft guns and artillery hidden behind giant rocks, who can be moved and camouflage them.

The tunnels can also be used to transport vehicles, goods, food and other stuff from A to B without being seen.

Switzerland has a very unique landscape. And trust me nobody knows how to take better advantage of it than the Swiss!
