Those were the major happenings of my last week. I flew back home… well, my American residence, last Monday. Thanks to sitting next to Chris Hero I only slept like 4 hours on an 11 hour flight. The big problem was that we’re both kind of big, so every time he moved I woke up and vice versa.
But that shouldn’t spoil a good time, so after I slept a little I watched Zombieland, which I thought was a great movie and then proceeded to destroy Chris at Battleship. Battleship is the official game of the Kings of Wrestling. He beat me at bowling pretty badly though.
Thanks to a rainstorm in Philadelphia we were able to catch a delayed earlier flight from Chicago and arrived home early. I used newly available time masterfully and went to the gym. Then I fell asleep at 9 o’clock.
The rest of the week I was trying to get back in the sleeping rhythm that I had before, which roughly worked until I had to go to LA for ROH. Again I didn’t sleep too much on the flights which gave me plenty of time to read the in flight magazine and getting super annoyed over my phone/MP3 player who decided to not display half of my songs.
Being in LA was great and the show / Wrestling convention took place at the Hilton right by LAX! After leaving my bags in the hotel room (which was super nice) me and Delirious walked to Chalet Edelweiss to enjoy some tremendous Swiss food! If you’re ever in the area, you have to check it out!
I vote that ROH always has their show from now on at Hilton or similar hotels because it was awesome! The crowd was hot and me and Chris Hero had a great return to the US.
After the match I was able to walk up to my room in my gear and take a great shower! Good times. Only 4 hours later I woke up and went on my way back home. This time I slept a lot more. I woke up about an hour before we landed and for the first time in my live I finished some sudoku puzzles! Go me!
The rest of Saturday was used to watch “I love you man” which I did not like at all. Well the last ten minutes were kind of ok.
Sunday was CHIKARA and it was a great! Teaming up with Ares again just felt great and with CHIKARA setting a new attendance record the atmosphere was tremendous. Chikara’s on a roll and I hope you keep following to see what happens.
