It’s Thursday already…

… And I still haven’t written anything about last weekend! It was awesome and since I can’t do it justice in the short time I have available to me right now, I shall redirect you to Sara Del Rey’s Website, because she wrote a great blog about it, so go check it out.

This weekend I will be in Newport News, VA, so if your home is located close to there, you should come see me and the Kings of Wrestling (complete with Chris Hero and Sara Del Rey).

Who watches Top Chef? It’s starting to get really good. We finally have a main heel in Alex (or Baron von Raschke as somebody on my twitter pointed out) who seems to have stolen some pea puree.

I was hoping they would show the video evidence of him stealing or not stealing it, but they didn’t. Maybe they’re saving it for the reunion or the next episode, but I’m sure the tension will be on from now on!

For those wondering, I was really enjoying ROH on HDNet last Monday and also RAW was pretty good. A good night of wrestling on Monday nights, with ROH having the best pound for pound wrestling on TV!

I think the Kings of Wrestling are coming into their own quite a bit, as we rule the tag division, the women's and could rule the singles division. But right now we’re focused on making a legacy with those ROH World Tag Team Championship belts.

For those who don’t know yet, I signed up for Formspring.me (formspring.me/ccastagnoli) where you can ask me questions and I will answer them (it might take me a while, but I’ll get there).

For those of you who hit the gym, NRG-X Labs released Sublime Whey and it’s awesome! It comes in 4 flavors (Chocolate-Chip Milk Shake, Vanilla Dream, Creamy Cappuccino and Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch) I’ve tried the Chocolate-Chip Milk Shake and the Creamy Cappuccino (of course) and they taste and mix great!

If you’re on Twitter, I’m trying to start something with #veryeuropean. So if you’re doing something that you think is very European, add the #veryeuropean tag!

I’m also working on a new Claudio’s Café with footage from last weekends trip! So stay tuned!

Stay European,

Claudio

Good morning!

It’s a new week and a new day. Obvious, but I figured I’d point it out anyway.

So what’s new? To be honest not much, since the World Cup is over I’m back to my old habits. If that’s good or bad, I’ll tell you when I figured it out.

Last weekend was ROH TV tapings, which is always fun and a good time. It’s also fairly close. If there just wouldn’t be that super annoying Philly traffic that makes a 45 minute drive an hour and a half! But I still managed to get some coffee both days and make it on time. Go me.

Friday myself and Chris Hero wrestled the Briscoe brothers, but in Singles Matches. So I took on Jay while he had to deal with Mark. I think it all came together great and should provide for a great episode on TV!

Saturday all of the Kings of Wrestling were in action. Sara del Rey had a chance to show her dominance (and wow, she did) while myself and The King of KO showed Colt Cabana and El Generico who’s the better team. I know it was clear in advance, but sometimes you have to hammer it in peoples heads. In this case via Elbow from TYKOK to Colt.

Next weekend is a big one! Louisville, KY, Collinsville, IL and Chicago Ridge for ROH (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and then CHIKARA in Philly for Chikarasaurus Rex, King of Show in Philadelphia!

I’m wrestling Tyler Black in Louisville, the Kings of Wrestling will take on the Briscoe Brothers and Amazing Kong, myself and Chris Hero vs. the Young Bucks (Generation ME) in Chicago and finally the BDK formation of myself and Ares will take on Tommy Dreamer (in his ECW arena return) and Eddie Kingston in Philadelphia!

Now those are some stacked up lineups! Updates will follow!

In a new experiment in social networking I signed up to formspring, so you’re going to be able to ask me questions a lot more. check it out at www.formspring.me/ccastagnoli

Stay European,

Claudio

The winner of the KoW T-Shirt, a look back at the World Cup and a new "old" Café

Many things are happening today. Why? Well to be honest because I procrastinated a few things a couple of days.

First, congratulations to OMAR MORENO for winning an awesome Kings of Wrestling T-Shirt! He picked the following world cup final score:

Omar Moreno Netherlands 1 Spain 2

Now I know that's not the correct result, but he was the only one that picked Spain as the winner. Out of a field of over 60 people, so I think that deserves a T-Shirt.

What did I think of the final? Well I was disappointed the way the Netherlands played. They played such awesome offensive football all tournament and then in the final they decide to play very rough and not eye pleasing football.

Also props to Spain's defense who also beat the high scoring Germans in the semis. By the time Spain scored they definitely deserved their goal (Yes, Robben, if you don't score you'll get scored on). So I was happy for Spain, but also a little sad for the Netherlands.

Looking back I though it was an awesome World Cup with great, great games (Germany vs Uruguay anybody?), it brought the world a little closer, and it brought me closer with many of my fans from all over the world!

So thank you, all of you who talked to me over Twitter, Facebook or right here!

Now I updated my website quite frequently during this period of time. Would you enjoy more frequent updates or just once a week? Trust me there's much going on in the world that I have an opinion on (and am neutral on :D)

Also I uploaded a shorter, edited version of Claudio's Café #5. Yes FIFA janked it because of some content issues... I think that's sad because I was just trying to promote the greatness of the world cup.

If I find an awesome highlight video that recaps the world cup, I shall it post here. If you find one, let me know!

With all that in mind, stay European,

Claudio
